World Netball (WN) has updated the WN World Rankings, with France entering the rankings for the first time ever.

This comes after France, who became a Full Member of WN in March 2023, reached the minimum number of matches required for a ranking (8) during the Europe Netball Open Challenge in May.

France now sit 29th in the WN World Rankings, with a rating of 31.

Irelands performance in Division 1 at the Europe Netball Open Challenge, where they beat higher ranked UAE 44-48 in their opening match, led to them moving up three places from 25th, to 22nd, whilst the Netball World Youth Cup 2025 hosts, Gibraltar (26th), and Malta (44th) both moved up one place each following their performances in Division 2 at the same event.

It is worth noting that at the top of the ranking is the world champion Australian team, and New Zealand and England are in second and third place.
